Your Physical Health and Studying - The Relationship

"A sound mind is found in a sound body".
As the saying goes, the way you feel determines your energy levels, which in turn has a great deal on your ability to study effectively.
The fact is, if you are not in a good state of health, your desire to even pick up a book and study will be a great chore.
Let us explore ways of ensuring tip-top physical health conditions.

PHYSICAL EXERCISE: The slightest form of movement in any part of the body will help release tension.
We are usually tensed up unconsciously, and exercising should be a part of our daily routine just as brushing of our teeth is.
A simple jogging exercise will send blood rushing to your brain cells, thus ensuring a fresh supply of oxygen to it. This will help with your ability to concentrate and absorb whatever information you need to study. These simple exercises that are going to be suggested can be done indoors or outdoors and can be done 10 to 15 minutes before you settle down to study.

1. Simple step up and down exercise 2. Simple stretching exercises 3.
Dancing with music 4.

Running around 5.
Jogging 6.
Trampolining 7.

Any movement that will send blood rushing to the brain should be enjoyable and fun to do.
These simple activities will release some happy-feeling chemicals. We can all do with a little bit of fun, since this is known to build the immune system too.

Once your immune system is strong, it will keep illnesses at bay and you will be in tip-top shape to study.

The whole idea here is not to over-exercise, a maximum of 15 minutes will do, so you do not feel exhausted just before you start studying. Note, exercising makes us alert and not stimulants such as coffee.
